Buff the "Background Player" perk please
Please return the perk. Now it has become almost unplayable. Previously, it was possible to save a survivor from a great distance, but now it’s barely possible from four meters. Developers, I hope you see this.

although i dont think it should of been changed its still entirely possible to get saves, 4 meters is a huge exaggeration people have done it way before background player even existed, its still possible to do now
Well if you cannot get saves now that is entirely on you, the perk is still good and it has quite the reach, before it was just completely busted.
i'd prefer 200% haste and 3 second duration.
Would be quite busted though, how long is the pickup animation? So every second of haste after that does not matter anyway…
The perk isn't unplayable, because it isn't free saves anymore.

Well seems busted ^^ being able to make 24 m during that time and still get the safe, no clue what the killer is supposed to do there? except for check half the map in case some one is hiding there.
You know people used to make saves before Background Player was a thing right?
Honestly the perk would have been much healthier if it activated after the pickup is completed. I would have preferred that be the nerf than tweaking the numbers down, because tweaking the numbers doesn't address the core flaw.
