The Knight is kill switched due to a bug. It means he won't be available until they fix him.
what is kill switched?
It's when an item becomes completely disabled for use. They kill switch things that have a game breaking bug so that it can't be abused.
BHVR (the developers) can prevent certain Killers, Perks, Maps, and Items from being used.
The reason for this is to prevent people from exploiting game breaking bugs.
Next update should fix the Knight, though Im sorry you have to deal with the inconvenience of this.
It sucks because he's probably going to be killswitched for quite some time now that the devs are all home for the holidays.
The Knight is currently disabled due to an exploit with his power. Unfortunately, this means you won’t be able to play him until the issue is fixed which likely won’t be until after the holidays.
Killers being disabled (kill switched) is not very common and usually quick, but as others have mentioned, its the holidays and BHVR actually let's their employees have time off.

There's a problem that makes the game not work if you try to play as the knight. To make it so people's games keep working, they made it to you can't play as knight right now, so your game doesn't stop working. when they find out why knight makes people's game stop working, they will fix the problem so people's games work with knight. This will happen in 2 or 3 weeks probably. After it happens, then you can play knight as much as you want
