Didn't The Entity Used to Block Dropped Pallets?
If the Survivor kept jumping over it whilein chase? Just like it does with vault windows? Or am I losing it? This would have been in 2020.

To our knowledge, they never blocked down pallets.
Wow I'm really losing it then. I can see the animation in my head clear as day.
There's a fairly recent perk that can do that, but not a base mechanic I can remember.
Dont worry, its possible to half it block a dropped pallet but only animation wise. This happens mostly with blood favor; hit a survivor as they drop the pallet. The animation for blocking a standing pallet will appear, but the pallet will be dropped. hence giving it the slight appearance of a blocked dropped pallet, that like you said can still be used. I'd imagine you were either using blood favor or blight with the blood favor addon, and hit them as they dropped it.
Take a look at my other thread. Please tell me somebody remembers this.

I can confirm that this has never been a thing. Unlike windows, the Killer can break the pallet to remove it permanently, so there has never been a need to block the pallet.
There are some things that can block undropped pallets, though. But pallets that are already dropped cannot be blocked.
It’s not a base mechanic.
There is a bug with Blood Favor that can appear to block a dropped pallet if it gets thrown right as you get hit, but it doesn’t actually prevent it from being vaulted.
Thank you for the clarification. I don't know what I was seeing. In my defense, I was brand new to the game at the time (3 years ago). I must have been confused.
