Vaults are entirely bugged. Both female and male fast vaults are basically medium vaults. However, male vaults bring the survivor slightly further away than females (but the vault is still bugged nonetheless)
So basically it is in my best interest to play as a male? It actually makes a difference?

Ok because I noticed a huge difference playing between Steve and Nancy. Just wanted to be sure that was the case for all Survivors. Thanks for verifying.
Depends on your playstyle. If you like chases, yes. If you like stealth, males are bigger and easier to spot.
I'm only thinking in terms of being in a chase and trying to get over that vault.
Fast vaults are still a thing. It is true that the distances don't work properly but fast vaults take 0.5 seconds as opposed to a medium vault's 0.9 seconds. So they are still much faster.
