The punishment for leaving a game shouldn't be this bad

Ok, so today I was in the middle of a game with pinhead (Thanks for the T-bag) and I'm not kidding my rumba dissconected my console, and I got a 10 hours ban and look sometimes you don't leave a game willingly or maybe you did because you played against a lag-switcher or a hacker or Legion... The point is that I think the punishment should be around 1 to 2 hours.

What do you think?

    If you DC one time the penatly is 5 minutes. Second time it is 15 minutes. Then I THINK it is 30 minutes.

    To have 10 hours (if this is even a ban, I dont know, never reached this point), you have DCed more than one time.

    Yeah I know but What I'm trying to say is that this really hurts people with bad internet

    As hard this might sound, then dont play Onlinegames if you cannot guarantee a stable internet connection. The 4 other players in your game dont really care if you DC because you ragequit or because your connection is poor, for them, the result is the same.

    And if you keep going and going, even if you know that your internet is not stable enough for online-gaming, then the penalty is really justified.

    Ok you know what you convinced me, It's deserved but a problem I also have is the lag-switchsers and hackers (I think hackers are not that big of a problem anymore) so sometimes people DC to avoid playing with this people
