Slugging with Infectious Fright

I keep seeing this happen more and more often, and it's really becoming tiresome to have killers who put on Infectious fright and just slug everyone until they find/down that last survivor. Especially on Blight and Nurse. Is this the new stupid meta or something??

    15 seconds spent picking up a Survivor and carrying them to a Hook, and then walking away from a Hook, could very well be 45s other Survivors spent working on Gens.

    Going for a 4 slug is much riskier, but there is a time benefit to it.

    On the one hand yes, but not when that's all you do all game until everyone bleeds out.

    It certainly is another thing entirely if the Killer doesn't bother to try to pickup Survivors once all slugged to Hook them.

    Although I could see the Survivors trying to consolidate into a corner, forcing a wiggle-out if a Hook gets destroyed, and then cascading that into quick pickups.
