Automatic purchase goes for higher priced items over anniversary items
Be wary of this if you're spending your BP automatically. The auto purchase will go right up to an event item and then go for the more expensive yellow or even green items. It will only purchase anniversary items if it has no choice. I hope the devs fix this, if not for this event then the next one.

Does it? I've spent 3 million bloodpoints today and at first I picked the anniversary items and auto'd the rest, but after a while I started just clicking on auto and it always picked the 2 or 3 anniversary cakes, even if not at first (would pick one of them last, but never make it go to waste unless it was at the far end of the web from the others).
Though I went automatic on levels 1-40 on killer, so it might be different for survivor or on the higher levels.
(For stats : I got 45 cakes on Haddie out of 1.3m spent (+about 20 of each of the other items), and 110 cakes on Legion out of 1.7m spent)
I watched it for about 10 bloodwebs and it seemed like it was avoiding the anniversary items as much as possible. Like if there were 6 nodes around the center and 3 of them were anniversary and 3 were brown it would pick all the brown items first. And then if one of the browns was connected to a yellow item (which is 2500 bp compared to anniversary items 2000) it would choose the yellow items before getting any of the anniversary items. And if there was a.. "branch" of items that went brown, brown, anniversary it would take the two brown items and then switch to another "branch" to consume a yellow.
So what I now do is pick all the anniversary items and then let the bloodweb auto complete from there.
I've just been manually getting anni items then clicking autobuy because I noticed it as well.
