Plague build give and take

I give a build for you to try and you give me one and I'll let you know how I did. I feel like instead of complaining on these forums, which I'm guilty of as well, we should instead try, help new players, and help the community have more fun. Give different build ideas and experiment more. I garauntee you'll have a better time and the community will can gradually become less of a cancerous mess all around.

Here's the build: now its not anything meta, which gets boring even though you'll likely get some annoying survivors who can't run anything but meta, it's part of having fun. It revolves around losing your terror radius and getting powerful snowball plays.

Plague

Addons: black incense and green/yellow apple

Perks:

*dark devotion- we'll be switching obsessions a lot, hopefully which gives us a chance to hit them and become undetectable. It also goes well with the next perk.

*nemesis- everytime we get stunned or blinded that survivor becomes oblivious and we get to see their aura for 4 seconds.

*game afoot- more obsession switching and the haste is nice although situational. Wish it got a different activation requirement than kicking a gen or pallet but oh well. You still get the aura boost when you injure them.

*Lethal pursuer/terminus- Lethal is nice for seeing people early as well as boosting nemesis to 6 seconds of aura reading and incense to 5 seconds but outside of the first 9 seconds it's not super necessary. Terminus if you want that gotcha moment at the end for the no cleansers. Apple helps to generate pressure for those guys but is really rng and situational if they choose not to cleanse, this perk can pressure them at the end if you play it right. Let me know your thoughts about this build. Thanks ๐Ÿ‘‹

  • Terminus seems redundant but I do like that idea if the Gotcha moment.

I can't recall the full build offhand (I'll see if I can check my game once I'm home) but one I've tried revolves around Scourge Hook Gift of Pain. It occured to me Plague gets unique use out of this one by adding to the catch 22 of facing her. If they don't cleanse they bleed more making fire slightly easier tracking. They do cleanse, they get smacked with Gift of Pain's slowdown. I recall thinking of it as an alternative to Thanatophobia. I think I also used the Black Incense/Lethal combo, as well.

ETA: I'm not 100% but I think the build was

Lethal Pursuer, Floods of Rage, Gift of Pain, and Devour Hope w/ Black Incense

Devour was mostly flex perk while Floods was there to work with the aura reading and Scourge hooks already in play. The idea was slowdown while healthy, increased danger while sick, and Devour as my own little Gotcha.

If not yet tried a build with it but I've thought Dying Light might also be uniquely useful for Plague since her power negates one of the perk's downsides (faster healing by the Obsession)

Terminus gives way more value than you'd think. Try it before you knock it

No knocking intended. I'm not one for endgame perks so I haven't tried it myself, but I can see where it's got potential.
