Textures didn't load, either your settings are too high or your computer needs an upgrade. Never looked at the settings in DbD but I do know every time I see this in other games I can generally just lower one or two things like shadows or water and it fixes. Your milage may vary.

Happens sometimes on my ps4 aswell.

it was just a one-time accident, I doubt it would be something serious, the textures just didn't load

That's because this game (and many others "we happy few" comes to mind) are not optimized at all on the PS4. 60fps shouldn't be difficult on PS4 yet they have trouble getting a steady 20fps.

I currently hold 60-80 frames, I have no problem with fluency
