Pig bug or missed update?
Sorry if im new to everyone i come from ps4 and just made this account because i wanted to ask this question on something that just happened to me. I downed a survivor with the pig and opened the exit gate to trigger the end game collapse. Then i went back put the trap on the survivor and let them wiggle and chased them all the way to the gate just for them to teabag and walk right out the gate. Shouldnt the trap have killed them?

If the trap is inactive, it will not kill the Survivor. This is not a bug.
oh okay thanks because i thought it did because earlier today i did the same thing and the survivor died to the end game collapse and sent me a hate message saying "oh the trap would have killed me" but the trap was inactive so i just thought it kills regardless. Thanks.
I believe that her Reverse Bear Traps are only able to kill once they're actually active. They become active whenever a generator is completed meaning that if you apply them after the final generator has been done then they're just fancy hats.
shoulda just hung the survivor then instead of going for the trap kill gotta remember that for the future thanks!
They change the RBT with the EGC update. The Devs felt being able to close the hatch along with having the exits impassable was too oppressive.
Best not to save traps anymore.
