Changes for Rancid Abattoir's Window

(Hello)

For a start i will say : i play both side equally, so i see both sides POV about this particular situation.

---------

What is the problem : Rancid Abattoir can spawn with the long wall-window open, next to the metal fences, in the main building "the slaughter house"

This Window is as safe as the Ironwork of Misery and Wretched Shop ones used to be before they were "nerf" by adding a slow vault on one side.

It's an almost infinite if you are playing against or as : Wraith, Hillbilly, Shape,Cannibal, Pig, Plague, Ghostface or Demogorgon. As you have no way to teleport quickly to the other side or place a trap/slow them. That's almost HALF of the killers !

There is no counter play to it as the time it take to loop it once is almost 20sec ! And that even no guarantee a hit...

The only thing you can do know is to stop chasing when you see the survivor is going toward it. But most survivor knows about it and you end up with no one down.

---------

The window is usually open when there is a gen inside the building. This gen like most of the building gens, shouldn't be a safe one. It should be risky to repair this gen as it is when a gen spawn in the shack next to the basement. The main building shouldn't be a safe place as it's the territory of the Killer.

---------

SOLUTION

Proposition 1) Make both sides a slow vault

Proposition 2) Remove the barrels on the left (from the inside) and spawn there a pallet. So once it's down and broken there is a faster path to go throught

Proposition 3) Block the main buildings windows after 2 vaults (not 3) on all maps.

---------

Thank you for your feedback and attention :)

Have a good day !

  • How about just permanently blocking that window but in all honesty all maps with main structures are super safe

    ↑This.

There's a wide range of windows that should be permanently closed off because they turn a loop into an infinite, almost.

  • Honestly, if they just prevented that window from ever being open and made the railings not spawn like that and stayed with the alternative way, it would certainly be good enough.

yus. It's just need to be less safe basically, or reduce the looping time. Because it's pretty long.
