Hello ;

Today i wanted to talk about our main user of insidious our boy LEATHERFACE

There are 2 users of chainsaw in this game ; The Hillbilly and leatherface ;

let's do a quick recap :

Leatherface :

Movement speed : 115% (4.6 m/s)

Terror Radius :32 metres

Height :Tall

Power : Bubba's Chainsaw:

An incredibly powerful and heavy Chainsaw which sank its teeth into countless victims. A suitable birthday gift for The Cannibal.

  • Can hit multiple targets in one Chainsaw charge.
  • The Chainsaw charge stops automatically after seven swings, or upon bumping into an object.
  • Running into an object forces The Cannibal into a Tantrum, whereupon he wildly swings his chainsaw around.
  • Successful hits from the Charge or Tantrum automatically put victims into the dying state.
  • The Chainsaw has a default charge time of 2.1 seconds.
  • The Cannibal's Tantrum has a default duration of 5 seconds.
  • While "charging" his chainsaw leatherface speed goes down to 87,5 %

The Hillbilly :

Movement speed : 115% (4.6 m/s) ; 230 % | 9.2 m/s (Chainsaw)

Terror Radius :32 metres

Height :Tall

Power : Chainsaw

A hulking and deadly Chainsaw of terrifying strength. Grinds through flesh, bone, and soul. Once revved up, sends its user into a violent frenzy.

  • Break into a crazed Chainsaw Sprint upon activation.
  • Automatically triggers the Dying State on a successful hit.
  • While "charging" his chainsaw leatherface speed goes down to 100


As we can see Hillbilly is more like a " Speedchainsaw" because when he use it, he speed goes up to: 230 % (9.2 m/s) and lose less speed when charging but is less manageable.

The Hillbilly is way stronger than Leatherface because he has a lot of gen pressure around the map and can instadown one person with his chainsaw.


Leatherface can also instadown and can instadown multiple people and he is more manageable, but he is very slow (even if his speed goes up during the tantrum).

That's why my suggestion was because Leatherface can instadown more people, but he is rather slow we can see him as a "Powerchainsaw" and if The Hillbilly can "sprint" because he is a speedchainsaw why Leatherface shouldn't be able to cut throughout pallet like it was nothing?

To put in more clearly my suggestion is that the Leatherface should be able to cut just break pallet instantly in his tantrum without animation to down people trough pallet .

This will make him quite strong and will negate a lot of pallet , windows will be even more helpful and survivors will need a great timing if they want to put the pallet down because:

too early ? = down

too late ? = down

you have to stun him or he will down you.

sounds quite scary no ?

Sincerely I don't this that he this would make it a broken killer because even with that he don't have gen pressure, but he will be very effective in the chase And hook/down people create pressure on the survivors.
