Key Rework Idea

There have been many times where im on death hook and being chased by the killer, where im like:

But then i turn the corner and whats this? Its the hatch! Then i just escape and say gg ez to the killer.

My proposal:

Keys can be placed into the hatch and will alert all players of it's location similar to how the exit gates are indicated. If you are using a dull key, the hatch takes 90s to open. A skeleton key takes 60s to open. The survivor that placed the key in the hatch does not have to stay with the key. Its a place it and leave it kind of thing. However, survivors can M1 the hatch to speed up the opening. Multiple survivors can M1 at a but with significant diminishing returns.

Once the key is placed into the hatch, it disappears from the survivor's hands and cannot be used to mind channel.

Killers can see the aura of the hatch and the more white the aura is, the closer it is to being opened.

Hatch aura is only revealed to killer if it is opened via key. The aura reading fades once there is only one survivor left.

Closing the hatch when there are more than 1 survivor remaining will NOT trigger EGC.

If the killer closes the hatch, a broken key item will spawn near the hatch with any addons the original key had, unless it has the milky glass addon, in which case the key will vanish and will cause the key to be given back to the person who used the key at the end of the trial.

When the hatch is fully opened, survivors are given a notification bubble accompanied with "last gen completed" beeeeeep.

Hatch stays open until the killer closes it.

Keys can now be used as a tool to force the killer to have one additional thing to patrol and babysit instead of just an outright win.
