I agree, it would cut down que time on consoles. That being said I think PC should still be separate just because console people would be at a major disadvantage.
I think cross-play would be really good to cut down queue times and it would be nice to play with friends who are console but it needs to be optional as some console players would rather not vs PC players which is understandable.
