Survivors trying to get them self off when you go to rescue them is this a new thing ?

I dont play survivor very often but i thought i would give it ago (solo survivor btw is a challenge) so i was in match teammate gets hook im close so i thought i would get them off being team player and all tha,t as soon they saw me they try get off hook them self i thought they were trying kill them self, but they didn't so i got them off, then i got into another match same thing again is this something new ? or are they trolling or being aholes or something ?

There was one survivor who (i could only assume saw me coming for them from half way across map as other teammate hadn't gone for them i get really close then they get them self off and teabag (level of frustration i had was immense then) not only did they waste my time, but that was also time on gen i lost. At less killer got him was happy about that lol

    They were probably trying their luck with the four percent chance

    if the bar is about to hit the midway and your right their then yes they were probably messing with you

    I noticed that people started doing that too, not often though. I play solos also and it happens. If it does then i shrug my shoulders and heal them if they let me. When they see you run to them they try to get off 1 to 2 times then stop to let you get them.
