I think it'd probably be a REALLY good idea(and would like to suggest for you) to do what League of Legends did. They created their own internet highway basically, by talking with various ISPs and getting them to channel their packets directly to and from their servers without taking the various avenues normal packets have to jump through to get from point A to point B. I don't know all the technical stuff, but that change did REALLY well on League of Legends over the long term. It was an amazing change that probably gets overlooked a lot, but since that change I have rarely ever had any lag when playing it, unless it was my internet directly.
