Second state hook question

Why isn't it just automatic?

If the devs are going to tackle dcing when the dedicated servers are ready then won't most dcers just find a new way to exit the match (giving up struggling on hook) and in addition to this struggling is somewhat painful to some people due to having to press the button 3 times a second due to medical issues or the fact that button mashing is just painful

And as a side question when camaraderie activates do you still have to struggle?

So do you want extra 3rd hook ?

    its awful this idea

if someone has a “medical problem for mashing buttons” why does he mashed it then ?

also its kinda not painful just mash one button .

What do you mean by extra third hook? Wouldn't it just be the first hook state but with the entity claws?

And it can get painful, idk about pc but definitely on console.

There are numerous threads asking the devs to take away the struggle mechanic from the second hook. Majority want it changed to being automatic, while a small amount want it to stay the same because it's supposed to cause dread or something. Either way...this isn't going to go anywhere.

Oh console isn’t that bad .... i don’t about pc

It kinda is bad on console but that's just because button mashing in general can strain your muscles. Due to how the controller is made but it isn't as bad as I make it out to be if you've mapped struggle to X on PlayStation or whatever the equivalent on x box is
