With dedicated servers incoming, will changing the icons be more dangerous?
Changing icons at the moment is allready a use at your own risk thing, but with the upcoming dedicated servers will it be even more dangerous to use them?

Icons have nothing to do with dedicated servers. Unless the devs change how the icons are used, it's gonna be as safe as it used to be.
Of course they're gonna be safe. A lot of streamers changed their HUD icons so I doubt EAC will gonna ban them when dedicated servers are launch.
@justarandy since devs will have more control over the players I am not sure, thats why I question this
I highly doubt it as those files are public files if they were gonna do that they would have to firstly make the files server based secondly they would have to put out a mass warning that they are doing it behaviors not stupid they dont want to ban 90% of their player base because of PNG Files.
The only reason why when you ask a dev can you get banned for it and they say well theres a chance is because they have to say that kind of stuff due to the fact they dont like people messing with files now can you actually get banned for it? No Someone contacted EAC not that along ago and they openly said it's not something they ban for and if they were to ever ban for it behavior would have to ask them to ban for it.
