SURVIVORS LOOSE ALL POINTS WHEN KILLER DCS

Why is it that the killer gains extra points when survivors DC. But when the killer closes app, the survivors loose all points gained through the match as well as offerings and sometimes items?

    They get what they earned up until the killer DCs. Plus 5000. That’s what I get when a killer DCs. Though I don’t like that you lose the offering.

    If the killer quits, then the survivors still get points. But if the killer closes the application or disconnects from the internet, then the survivors get absolutely nothing.
