Sounds are ######### again.
It's not just chase music overwhelming literally every other noise either (seriously, it's louder than Plague's frustration when hit by a pallet). Basically everything sounds muffled now. Even the explosion from sacrifices and Survivors struggling on your shoulder sound are muffled.

You're gonna have to give some comparisons. If it's literally everything, then simply adjusting your volume with solve everything. And the fact that you said everything is both loud and muffled makes it difficult to understand the problem.
