Flashlight saves?

So a nurse pick this guy up and i flashlighted her its said i blinded her but she didnt drop the guy can someone explain why?

    Blinded her too early. You gotta time it better, because blinding during the animation doesn't do anything. You have to blind her when she's out of the animation, but use the lock to set it up

    Start blinding the killer when they hit the survivor with their shoulder.

    That probably explains why flashlight arent good

    I mean, something as impactful as removing someone from the killer's shoulder after they went down SHOULD be hard to achieve.

    I believe flashlight saves are in a good spot now. Hard to pull off, counterable and reward skill.
