Regarding the perks monitor and abuse and furtive chase, which is best to use when wanting a larger/shorter terror radius at the end of a chase?

For example, if i paired these perks up with infectious fright, which one would i want? as im not sure weather IF would trigger at the end of the chase with monitor (with the increased Terror radius) or if it would occur after the chase (when monitor would instead present a decreased terror radius).


Whilst on other killers like Ghostface, when using his outdoor security camera addon i would want a shorter terror radius but im not sure (like the example previously) if furitive chase would work like this to get a reduced terror radius for the addon, or if the addon occurs when the chase is over and the perk has no effect.


If anyone understands what im on about and knows the mechanics in these instances could you help?

    If I am correct Infectious Fright makes them scream when they are in your terror radius. Monitor and Abuse I think only persists while the chase is active to make it larger. Smaller when it is not. So this would be your best combo. However, I am not sure how quick your terror radius goes back to normal with Monitor so it might have no effect. However, the point of furtive chase is to lose your radius. This shouldn't be paired with Infectious fright as you are less likely to have it proc.

    Basically yes, Infectious Fright triggers the instant you down someone, so is taking into account the increased terror radius that you have from Monitor and Abuse during a chase.

    BUT, depending on which killer you're using, if you down an unaware Survivor or a Survivor that doesn't run triggering the chase, you would have the decreased terror radius of Monitor and Abuse, so it can be a doubled edged sword. Mostly depends on what killer you want to use it on.

    Furtive chase is a nono for Infectious Fright.

    If you're wondering how Furtive Chase and Monitor and Abuse works together, well if you have max tokens on Furtive chase tier 3, and Monitor & Abuse tier 3, then you get a permanent -8 meter Terror Radius both inside and outside of a chase. Really nasty and sneaky on stealthy (low TR) Killers 😁
