With dc punishment incoming, do you think more people will die on purpose on hook?
With this dc punishment coming in the future, do you think more people will give up on the hook since they don't want to get banned?
Or will the new system detect when someone is doing this ?

From what I can tell it is gonna be a high amount of dcs before a ban. Most of these toxic people have no problem staying if they are rolling over a killer/survivor group but can't take a loss.
Thankfully the survivor will leave a husk that can be hooked for stacks and points
Do you have verification for this. I've always wondered why this wasn't done years ago.
100%
If thats true devs just need to remove attempt escape unless you have deliverence

I mean if you die on hook under a minute into a match you'd probably be treated the same way.
There is a difference though, in that late game giving up on hook can be tactical for your team.
Tbh i always wondered why people dont do that instead
Depends on a survivor. Those who don't want to depip will not.
The problem with dc's now is that survivor can keep their item and not depip too. Win win. When dedicated servers come theyhave more to lose unless they wabt to depip on purpose or give someone the hatch.
This new system is to stop rage quitting. People that do such after one hit or something silly. The added time will force them to rethink. People that kill themselves on hooks want out of the match because they know they are going to die anyway. This may get resolved with the increase in points for survivors.
If you punish people who dont dc for dcing then that's crazy talk.
Probably, but it is better that way as they won't be keeping their item that way
