I'm no dev, but since teleporting to a gen seems to be a channeled action, like using a chainsaw or healing a Survivor, I'd imagine it would get canceled because the now fixed generator would no longer be a valid teleport location for Freddy.
Just like how you can't rev a chainsaw if hit by a pallet or keep healing a Survivor who heals from Adrenaline.
That said, one of Freddy's add-ons will apparently prevent him from cancelling a generator teleport, so it might be possible for that specific add-on to force him to teleport to a completed generator.
