Survivors Objective?
Can someone point me to source material where it states that "it's survivors job to waste the killers time". Every time i ask a survivor why the run to the infinite looping points on the map and refuse to leave they all give the same answer.

In a way if they get chased - it is. Every second they spend distracting you is another second the rest of the survivors are doing the main objective - gens in order to escape.
You need to not take the bait and hit them where it counts.
It is the objective to waste the killers time because time is the most valuable resource a killer has it is the decider of a game. The clock is always against the killer so whenever someone loops you and you wonder why they are wasting your time it is because that's how you win. The more time you are in chase the more gens are getting done.
That's just the way it goes. Waste as much of the killers time so everyone else can work on gens in peace. Break chase and find someone else to smack around don't be a follower be a leader.
Im not a good chaser survivor. Within ~20sec into the game, Killer found me and started a chase, I waste 3 pallets and with a dead hard, I keep the chase around 60sec, as soon as I was on the hook, 3 gens done.
This is why Killer either use Ruin or Noed, and thats why tunneling is sometime required to make a kill, cause another reason why Survivors must have DS
Developer should remove Ruin and make 2nd objectives as a replacement to slow down the game. As the same time giving DS to survivors by default to prevent tunneling.
I get looping as a strategy but being able to go to a place where you can do it nonstop sounds incredible broken to me, especially if all 4 survivors do it.
