Year 2 Killers need love, unfortunately.
Year Two was one hell of a year. We had plenty of amazing things come out of it, and one of those things was the 4 (technically 7 if you count the other members of Legion), however, throughout the corse of the year, all Year Two killers kind of ended up being forgotten, in some sense. They all can’t compete with most of the Killers released during Dead By Daylight’s first year roster...Why is that though?
If you evaluate all the Killers that had came out, only two seemed can be considered mid-tier, but theyre not incredible. Clown’s ability isn’t much to fear anymore now that Survivors have learned to stick to pallets and trust that the Clown will actually waste his time to throw the bottle, get stunned and or slowed down by a pallet. Spirit...She seems to have more bugs than anything from what players keep reporting. She has potential to be on par with Hillbilly and Nurse, however she’s just so underpowered by audio bugs.
Legion and Plague...They’re really underpowered. Legion, unfortunately, was butchered to the ground by nerfs, and with the newest changes to Killer Instinct, Legion is sadly worse than Freddy at this point. I love this character, I really do, but he’s seen more nerfs than buffs than any other Killer. Plague has to rely on the Survivor’s intelligence to actually get any use out of her ability, and when going into higher ranks, she becomes a pain rather than enjoyable. I get it that...She can manage to get kills at higher ranks, that’s nice, but there’s difference between longtime Plague mains in rank 5-1 to the Plague players who are at other ranks that are trying to have fun, get annoyed by the fact that Survivors can abuse her power.
I really hope that they can get some love, especially Legion. Reworks or buffs would be lovely, but even just adressing that changes will come soon will be something.
