Being able to turn down music in favour of game volume will "fix" some of the issue with killers being unable to hear survivors through occlusion by allowing us to turn it up and focus on it easier, whilst not getting our ears blown off by music.

it will also allow people like me to still be able to hunt and survive, whilst listening to my own music as well, i've heard the ingame music for hundreds of hrs now and it gets a bit grating listening to it nonstop. hell just the ability to turn off music would be wonderful. silence is a wonderful thing, like i love the music in the game but silence is golden ya know?

    Also it would be good when its so hot outside that your computer's fan is so loud that you can hear it from a mile away... but i guess it's not a problem in canada.
