Please give temporary Bans for Dc's
Everytime I play killer there is always someone that disconnects for the stupidest of reasons. First survivor I hit and they already dc. Dc screws not only the killer but the other survivors as well, it just ruins the game for everyone. They should add a 2-3 day ban for every time they leave the game. This will encourage survivors to actually play the game, shocking right!?
@not_Queen Any Plans on addressing the massive amount of disconnects? I appreciate everything you guys are doing but it doesn't amount to anything if the core game is unplayable.
Edit: Also whenever you dc and restart the game, you lose no pips. Pretty good job so far. People who dc don't get punished at all.

Technically, they do give both temporary and permanent bans for disconnects. The problem is it's based on the percentage of games you play that you disconnect from so it is ridiculously easy to abuse. Especially with certain devs warning their friends that they're getting close to the punishment limit so they have to go a few extra games without disconnecting to avoid that percentage.
There's been plenty of valid solutions given to the massive disconnect problem, but the development team doesn't consider it a priority. As of right now, their official stance is that they're going to wait till dedicated servers are out until they work on the disconnect issue.
Oh right the dedicated servers, hopefully that does something. But then again I'm no longer hopeful for the future of this game.
Yep there are many valid options they could implement to stem the flow of disconnects, but I guess we are forced to wait for:
Dedicated servers to be released and stable > BHVR collects data > test & implement a change
From a development standpoint it makes sense to not implement something that will just have to be reworked once the infrastructure changes. But for an issue that is severely hurting the state of the game and community..... it needs to be addressed ASAP.
Let's hope there are still players left however many months from now once something actually gets done about it.
