When is the hex:ruin problem getting adressed?

Ruin is meta for a reason, and the recent stats have show, soo we need to change something

Option A- Make gens longer

Option B-New secondary objectives

Option C-Make the kick gen regression faster

Any build without ruin at the moment will last less then 6 minutes, since survivors won't stop fixing generators.

Um, you mean their entire objective!!!! Who'd have thought!

  • Option B would be best, of course though ruin would probably need changed if they did that.

  • @Tensor most of the times when I play killer they won't even rescue people from the hook

    Camping?

I've never come across people not getting rescued if the killer isnt camping.

Personally, I just think Killers should be able to light a dull totem and turn it into a new Ruin if the first gets cleansed.

Then Survivors shouldn't cry about Killers doing their obj. AKA killing, even if it means tunneling and camping. Anything to secure that kill, how dare killers kill! KAHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHN!

  • I would like to see regression be applied to a Generator once no one's repairing it.

  • They are not gonna make gen times longer do you really want 16 second gate timers again because i can bet money that if they made gens longer they'd lower the exit gate times again just like last time when they made gens "a little longer"

  • Yes, ruin need to be reworked and gens last longer. Ruin have token instead.

  • A mandatory objective would probably work best but also feel some changes to regression is preferable over longer gens. Skill checks could be a little better/challenging but that will just make some cry over difficulty.

  • I would be okay with regression being faster in part. For instance if a gen is 75-99% done it's a faster rate, if it's 50-74% it's a little slower, and so on.

And no, gens should not regress on their own. The devs can come up with balance changes that aren't literally holding killers' or survivors' hands.

He's not saying they should, he's saying that the biggest issue right now is that there is no reason to.
