Why do hooks and gens get so excessively highlighted when used and finished? It blocks the view of the entire area around it. What exact purpose does it serve, because I dont see one. Having a hovering red silhouette in a dark environment should suffice. All it seems to do is blocking the view of survivor and killer.
I can´t grasp the function it has. It´s so bothering to not see where the killer is going after hooking someone. And then he suddenly stands in front of you.

    In one of the dev streams they said it is like that on purpose, for the very reason of not being able to see past it.  They also said it is not likely that they will ever change that.
