  • I wouldn't call what PC has a translation. They put text in an online translator and called it a day.

As for your question, consider this: why do you want that in the first place? Right, because many people in Brazil have trouble reading English. So how do you expect them to find translators if very few people speak both languages?

I can translate into European Portuguese because I actually speak it, but the difference is that most people in Portugal can read English fairly well, making my skill irrelevant. Brazilian Portuguese is so different from European Portuguese in vocabulary and grammar that it might as well be a different language altogether.

  • DBd developers do a pretty poor job at translating their game, even on PC. The German version for example still lacks it. The lore and perks of the Plague, and Ash both sound like they were just thrown into a generic translator program, like Google translator. I refuse to believe anyone who is fluent at German did the translations. However rather old content like the Legion are already properly translated. Also perks that underwent overhauls needed WEEKS in the live version to be fixed at all. Both Borrowed Time, and Leader read the old effects for those weeks.

I dont know if they are just lazy, or lack personnel for those jobs. But they definetely need to step up their game in terms of translations.

  • @ABannedCat My guess is that they lack the budget for dedicated translators, so any translators they do have also need to be able to program or whatever, which naturally leads to a delay since translations aren't exactly a top priority.

  • Every month they release a lot of auric cells skins only and they *cough* don't have money to pay a translator.

  • @Guertena Dedicated translators. As in staff whose only job is to translate. They contribute nothing to help with the real problems of the game (stability, balance, map design, just to name a few) and still continue to draw a salary, despite only having to work once per update.

So, the devs have to either hire about a dozen people every month for a few days' work (costs money that could be better spent on important things, like programmers), or try to hire people who can translate and actually help with the real problems of the game.
