What if unhooking a survivor gave you a few extra seconds, or locked the timer for an instant
Don't get me wrong, i think the end game collapse is balanced at the moment, just curious on peoples thoughts on for example, getting a successful save, and how that should impact the timer if at all
ie should a survivor be rewarded for attempting to save their allies?

No. The egc is designed the end the game, not extend it. Let the killer have his kill and just leave the game
If it's down to the last few seconds, they lost. No need for even more second chances.
