It was an accident. Mclean said it was not intentional on his twitch stream over the weekend. He didn't get into much.. but he said that.
Just cuz he said that doesn't mean it wasn't intentional. As a company, it's a business strategy to let informations get leaked. And obviously a company will never tell that a leak was intentional.
Only bhvr knows the truth, we can just speculate.
I wonder if it accelerated the release date at all though? Seems awfully soon after chapter 11!
They planned for their release to happen at Pax. That was their big thing... to have leaked beforehand doesn't make any sense - especially with the time and money the put into the banners and video with Bruce. sns.
Or you can just take the guys word for it. Companies don't actually like to leak stuff, they specifically pay large amounts of money to market things.
They probably also would've encouraged discussion vs stifling it if they had done it intentionally.
I believe it was intentional. It was way too big of a leak to be that much of a blunder on someone's part.
