Change legion’s deep wounds to drain dying state health instead?

I love playing legion, and I really would like him to be in the area that requires a lot of skill. Currently, if you play him without abusing his power, he does require skill, but the abuse of his power comes from that deep wounds timer.

If the timer was actually the survivor’s dying state life bar, less honorable players would feel like repeatedly frenzy striking survivors isn’t worth it, seeing as you’re only docking about 10 seconds a hit, and the dying state timer is what, 2-3 minutes? Stunning yourself like an absolute unit and seeing that you aren’t being rewarded for abusing feral frenzy.

Either this, or remove the damage of the double strike, and instead have built in sloppy butcher tier 3 for survivors hit by feral frenzy. If that doesn’t work, then penalize legions that repeatedly strike the same survivor by removing 600 brutality points.

seriously, Its rare that I double swipe, only do it when I’ve hit all 4 survivors successfully in a single frenzy, and I do it to the last survivor hit, then I chase them and break the chase the moment I see another survivor mending.

As a matter of fact, I don’t think legions should be able to see deep wounded survivors at all during a feral frenzy, it’s just not fun to down people with only feral frenzy, it doesn’t feel earned.

However, the rush of winning a chase at 110% speed simply never gets old.

Im sick and tired of clueless careless players ruining his reputation.

  • Need "Deep wounds" to not count down while in killer's TR. Then he would not be as easily abused. Proximity chasing to allow DW countdown to tick down is a real abuse of legion.

  • just remove the timer and deep wounds and put a different effect in its place like mangled and he would be fixed.

except it be even more easily to abuse if it goes off TR perks like Tinkerer and plagues terror perk would be way to OP with that kind of rules. the whole problem with legion is deep wounds being attached to Feral frenzy.

Then survivors would simply follow the legion until he passes by a landmark that is considered safer to heal in, yet again they could remove the ability to mend while in his TR or even make it take twice as long.

You can can see the difference clear as day when you play against a good sported legion

Only if Nurse's Calling worked on Deep Wounds, otherwise survivors would abuse it

What if survivors effected by deep wounds have a 5 second delay before they start leaving scratch marks? Or remove them entirely, instead having a built in bloodhound to track by blood instead of scratch marks, forcing you to face the direction of wherever the survivor is going; and looking straight ahead to watch for movement.

  • maybe Legion should apply other status effects and not deep wounds at all. He could use various herbs or poisons on his blade during the match to change the effect on survivors and force them to adapt.
