It should affect vaulting speed on pallets too, not only on windows.

    Sometimes yeah. It should be, anyway.

    Problem is that there is no medium vaulting speed for pallets like there are for windows. Vaulting speed for pallets are fast no matter how you approach it as long as you're running.

    Exactly. The gas reduces survivor's speed so you can't trigger fast - vault (as you can only trigger it at 100% speed or more) and instead do a medium vault every time (except you get sprintburst the second before vaulting).
    Edit: I think they should introduce a similar system for pallet-vaults too
