I don't think this is as easy you think it is. And it will probably risk that it's getting even worse.
If Bhvr implemented a server browser, or a method of choosing your game and game parameters, (maps, players, ping times, ranks etc. etc.), it would completely break DBD. The game would grow stale very quickly. It would lose all it's toxicity, which is what is keeping this game going.
The game is the perfect platform for trolls, drama, internet tough guys, cheaters and just overall toxic people. It's what let DBD carve out it's little niche on the market.
BHVR will never block or allow the tools that would stop supplying the toxic fuel supply that's keeping this game alive.
I mean, they don't even have an option to change the brightness or gamma in-game. How funny is it to even ask for something like a server browser, or better communication, or proper graphic option settings, or or or...
