Is the Adam dance copyright?
The guy (Alfonso Ribiero) who plays Carlton just sued Fortnite for copyright on his dance.
I know that Adam Francis, a character owned by BHVR, isn’t really “dancing” but in the ad for the Wicked Wares collection he’s seen implying the dance whilst dressed in a similar fashion as Carlton. If I were to ask someone randomly, I’d assume they would have thought they were implying he’s doing the Carlton dance. If that’s not enough, he’s wearing the same necktie style sweater and haircut.
I’m no attorney, but maybe BHVR better check with their own attorneys about this one...?

I believe it would technically fall under parody. Fortnite just straight copied the dance. DBD is more a tongue-in-cheek joke/parody of it so should fall under fair-use I believe.
