It’s been a bug for awhile, it happens sometimes. It may be due to the fact that there is so many walls and doorways to run by and through that the game has issues rendering where exactly a Survivor has precisely gone in a short amount of time, especially if other Survivors are running around nearby, which could cause overlapping.
