Is It Finally Time For Ebony Moris and One-shot Pink Addons To Be Snapped By Thanos?
With the removal of Decisive Strike the cycle is now completed for the killers Infinity Gauntlet, Thanos has collected New Moon Bouquet, Brand New Part, Saboteur, Self-care and finally the dreaded Decisive Strike leaving second chances, immersed Claudettes and fast games a thing of the past. Which now begs the question, is it time for Ebony Mori's and certain killer addons that end games far too quickly to be given the same treatment? Are they simply a relic of a game that has evolved so much that the knowledge of how they were created should be forgotten for balances if not fairness sake?

Nothing to do with fairness since the DS and those other perks you mentioned don't interact with them in any special way. But sure
I’d be fine removing a lot of the hugely power items and add-ons from the game.
Instant Heals and Ebonys.
Brand New Parts and Iridescent add-ons.
Well they won't touch NOED so...
And while ebonys are bad, against a gen rush swf squad with the best toolboxes they're kind of neeses.
If you remove flashlights and toolboxes along with insta heals. Sure.
@NuclearBurrito I mean... DS delayed a Mori. Now it doesn't so i guess there's a little interaction
I'll admit moris can be OP, but I don't recall any major nerf for self care and DS got buffed along with its nerf. Without dribbling being possible and needing to down recently hooked survivors at end game, it's now more useable, but less abuseable.
Second chance perks, immersed Claudettes, and fast games are just as prevalent as ever.
Still, I think it would be fair to add an extra requirement to a mori. Something like you need to get 5 survivor smacks in order to charge a mori in addition to the previously hooked requirement, and for ebony, another 5 each time you want to mori again.
Self-care has been nerfed more than once. It has had a speed nerf and then there was the heal nerf which made it even slower. DS didn't get "buffed" because it is now so conditional that most killers just don't tunnel as much anymore. If you don't get tunnelled you don't get to use the perk at all which makes it useless against any killer that isn't trash at the game. If exits are open and you aren't chasing someone you should be protecting that unhook not running around like a moron then when someone gets near you can hit them before the unhook and hit them after the unhook it isn't that hard not to tunnel.
Even just a time limit when unhooked before they can be mori'd would be fine.
Its not so much that they get you before the second hook, its the fact that once you're hooked the killer is just going to wait nearby and smack you down as soon as you're unhooked before you can get away or heal yourself.
At least if you had a chance to defend yourself after unhook it wouldn't feel so oppressive.
The moon offerings... Didn't... Really... Do much... Dunno why you included those (the devs stated that it takes too much time to have to change the lighting for each and every map).
Saboteur wasn't nerfed, it was buffed so I don't see the problem.
Brand New Part was shoved into the dirt, I think it should have a lower rarity or a new effect. Perhaps both.
Self Care... Hmn... I certainly wasn't one of the people that had problems with it despite playing killer more.
DS is more of a anti tunneling thing now but I have little doubts less people would run it.
Don't kid yourself, immersive Claudettes will always be a thing.
And fast games are even faster apparently.
Ebonies should not be touched, as they do have requirements that must be met. Yes they can end the game really fast in some cases but that's really only true if the killer can catch you quick enough, and only Nurse and Hillbilly can do so. Be thankful you need to get hooked first, cause before you could just get moried on the spot.
