New Chapter idea: Cage without a Key
At some point in someone's life, they might spend time behind bars. Maybe you committed a crime, maybe you just had an unfortunate accident, or maybe you put yourself in there because of your terrible deeds.
New Map: Bloodgate Prison (An all indoors map like the Game or the Doctor's map)
Bloodgate Prison was built to hold the worst of the worst who had gained a life sentence or, in some cases, death. Behind these ripped fences and crumbled walls, there was no mercy or kindness. The warden and the guards treated inmates like vermin, beating them while no-one outside the prison had a care in the world, many prisoners had 'gone missing' by there control and many had preferred to stay in their cells than to walk these tortuous halls. Not just because of the cruelty of the staff, but because of the beast they had failed to break yet. Among the worst of the worst, there's always one worse than that.
New Killer: The Convict
(Appearance: Same size and speed as the Trapper.
An orange prison jumpsuit with shorts sleeves and ripped marks with one chest pockets and the numbers 0612 printed on it.
Bare feet.
Slash scars on his hands, arms and feet.
A blood stained machete in his right hand, and a metal ball and chain wrapped around his left.
A large metal mask locked around his entire head with the eyes and mouth pieces built into it being the only way to look through it.)
The Convict was the monster the prison kept in their basement, a man so lost in his demented mind that he was sent to the more isolated part of the prison to prevent interaction with other prisoners. He has done it all. Theft, #########, murder, and feels no remorse for any of these actions, in fact he rewards himself when he does these things successfully by using his machete to make a bloody scar on his flesh to immortalise his victory. Foiled by rage and a taste for blood, he searches for new victims to add to his count.
Killer's ability: Ball and Chain
Once attached to his foot, he now wealds in his hand. The Convict can use the ball and chain as a ranged attack, by throwing the ball out to strike survivors from a limited range and then retracing the ball back into his hand. After using this ability, it'll take a few seconds to charge back up before using it again.
The Convict comes with three perks.
The first perk is called - Heavy Chains: Your personal cell is sacred, no-one is welcome. Every time a survivor enters the basement, they become cursed. While cursed, they cannot repair generators, cleanse totems or heal until the effects ware off after a short time.
The second perk is called - Wrecking Ball: When a strong object strikes a weaker one, it can back a big impact. After hitting a survivor, they gain head damage, making the survivor player's game camera sway slightly for a short time, giving them a dizzy attempt to run away.
The third and final perk is called - Remorse: When someone puts themselves before others, they'll pay the prise. If a survivor is hooked while the other survivors are repairing generators, a random choice of one of those survivors will be put into the exposed state for a medium amount of time. The exposed survivor can either wait it out or wait for the hooked survivor to be saved. (A better explanation would be imagine three survivors on a generator, the same one or individually, and the fourth survivor is being hooked. Only while they're still repairing whatever generator they are on will one of those completely random survivors be put into the exposed state)
(I haven't really thought through a survivor yet, but I'll try to think of something. I hope the devs see this and give me their feedback, anyway, thanks for reading and see you in the fog. Stay safe and stay the hell out of the basement lol)
Comments
It sounds like a good idea! Though I’m not sure about Remorse however, as the perk counters the already lack of gens being done— especially during events. Love the idea though.
Remorse could use a re work but I love the idea and it adds a great mechanic, I recommend for his ball and chain is that you are slowed when charging it and when you miss, you suffer from a longer animation of the wind up, a different animation then a successful hit of the wind up to get the ball back, so it's like Leatherface, missing is a penalty, and when they are hit, they suffer from inefficiency, meaning a decrease in repair, healing and sabotage speed for 30 seconds after being out of the killer's TR.
