DBD Matchmaking Tweak!
Please add some specific stats like total hours played as survivors, total hours played as killers and a number of perks on each side (killer or survivor) to matchmaking. Don't just go with player level or overall hours played, because some people only play as killer main/survivor main and rarely play the other half; some who play for fun vs those that grind perks.
When a killer main play as a survivor, don't just group them up with a total try-hard killer. As well as survivor main playing as a killer, don't just give them those sweaty swf or toxic individuals.
It should be based on the thing I said above + seasonal rank (just in case someone who hasn't played dbd for a while and decides to come back). For example, group a rank 17 survivor who played total 140 hours as a survivor role with total 34 perks with a rank 15-19 killer as the same or near the acceptable range of 34 (or around 28~40) perks and 140 (or around 115~165) hours of experience as a killer. This way it will reduce the imbalance in dbd matchmaking system between big old people vs newbies.
Comments
If you cant base a matchmaking solely of rank, then this is a alarming sign that there is something wrong with the rank system.
What should one do in such a case?
