A limited time token for classic cosmetics.
Hello BHVR & community members.
My idea / request is to add a limited time token around an event once a year that could be redeemed for a previously released cosmetic, either in a rift pass or for an old event that a player may have missed. My idea is for this token, to release for a limited time around Christmas time for example. A player can choose to spend, say 400 auric cells if there is a cosmetic they wish to purchase. If someone already has all of the cosmetics, or there isn’t any they want, they do not have to purchase the token, its completely up to the player.
You do not have to include Deep Rift cosmetics or Legacy skins, to keep some exclusivity for people who played during that period. However, a lot of players like myself that started playing after certain periods were released may want a particular cosmetic which they can otherwise not get. For example I started playing weeks after the Haunted by Daylight tome in 2024 and the Spirit uniform with the stripped socks has always been “the one that got away for me.” Similarly the Dwight 8-bit Pizza Hoodie, and red Spirit uniform is another, I was on vacation when the Tome 4 bundle was released in March 2025 so I missed it a second time :(
I think if something like this came out around Christmas it could not only be really rewarding for players who always wanted a certain cosmetic that they otherwise missed, but also generate community engagement. I’d defiantly be asking all of my friends what they redeemed their token on, and comparing the cosmetics we got. By allowing people to redeem the token on only one cosmetic and excluding Deep Rift or Legacy skins, you are keeping some degree of exclusivity, whilst giving something that feels like a little Christmas gift to the community, even if this token costs us auric cells :)
Thank you for your time,
Signed,
A Spirit main with no stripped socks x
