Native support for higher refresh rates (144Hz / 240Hz / 320Hz+)
Requiring players to play at a hardcapped 120 FPS in a competitive multiplayer title is completely outdated. High-refresh-rate monitors (144Hz, 240Hz, 360Hz+) are standard for modern PC gaming, yet Dead by Daylight forces players to suffer from artificial input latency because the game engine binds movement physics and animation logic directly to the client's framerate. For PC players, switching from 240+ FPS in almost every other competitive multiplayer title to a hardstuck 120 FPS feels stuttery, choppy, and just ruins the fun to a degree.
Yes, we are fully aware that fixing this isn't just flipping a switch in a menu - it means refactoring and rewriting legacy core code.
But let's be real: Behaviour Interactive is a multi-million dollar company, and DbD is a multi-million dollar flagship game. Treating a decade-old technical limitation as permanent while pumping out paid DLCs is unacceptable. Re-investing into the engine's core infrastructure is a massive, but necessary upgrade.
