Survivors, I want to give you some tips as a killer main

I understand playing survivor can be frustrating but I got some tips for you.

General tips:

  • Don't stand out in the open, most killers if they see a survivor they will go after, this doesn't mean hide all the time just try to avoid the killer
  • If you are on death hook Please don't try to be the hero for another survivor unless you plan on going back to the lobby quickly
  • Work as a team for your fellow survivors even in solo, sure while solo gives a challenge working as a team usually has a higher survival rate
  • Understand most killers aren't even there to tunnel out, again part one we go after a survivor we see
  • Learn to leave loops when it becomes dangerous, killers are generally faster than survivors

For specific killers that I understand myself (if other killer mains can help that'd be great)

  • For Dracula, for vampire form don't camp near pallets or ledges you will be hit, wolf form don't stay near loops, while the scent orbs left behind can be used for haste they are the gap closer, for bats listen for it. While transforming or recovering from a wolf lunge run away, drac has a longer cool down than you think. Also wolf and bat form are in third person so corner peeking is possible.
  • For Jason, map wise noise, stop what you are doing and crouch, if you are near a gen at this time crouch away, and since Jason and all ranged killers have a ranged option take cover and break line of sight as much as possible Between you and the killer, this way ranged stops being an option.
  • For spring trap, keep looking around, spring trap is the strongest when going through doors and having the undetectable status, use door cameras when you know you are completely safe. Also if you know that spring trap isn't going to a door and is chasing another survivor use the doors to navigate. Beware of the ranged option it has an arc
  • Doctor, don't camp pallets or ledges, or even shack. Infact most Doctor mains will mainly torture and death hook everyone before letting everyone leave because that's just how they are.

I've used my killer main knowledge when playing survivor in a lot of my games. However a few extra suggestions.

  • Have some situational awareness, like where the killer can come from, what kind of killer, what the powers are, and escape routes. This alone has helped me more than anything.
  • Understand the most dangerous areas of the map aren't good for evey killer. Some killers absolutely dominate certain cells that others don't, like oni for example is great in much more open maps where myers would suffer in that regard.
  • Understand that killer and perk tier lists are mainly a suggestion and have a chance to be biased. Things get changed all the time. Stats, Effects, gameplay, like the twins is in a rough spot but someone out there probably dominates lobbies with it.

I hope this helps out a bit.
