Summer event - where is offering?
So the summer event has started, but where are the event offerings? After the anniversary event, we finally get points for finishing generators (1,500) and hooking survivors on non-basement hooks (625). However, as a killer, you can barely reach even a quarter of the event category cap, and you cannot use any event offering to earn more Bloodpoints in that category because there is no offering connected to this event.
On the survivor side, there is also a problem: these points are awarded only to the players who finished generator. This means that all four survivors can escape, but only one survivor may receive most of the event points because they were the player who completed all the generators. Previous events awarded generator event points to all survivors whenever a generator was completed, so why is this event different?
What I see is that BHVR, or the DBD developers, seem to view the future of events mainly as an opportunity to introduce new skins. Then we get about three charms, banners, or badges, and that is all—nothing truly special. These events repeat every year and no longer feel unique.
Will this Bloodpoint issue be addressed, or what is going on?
