Anybody else sick of hex builds?
I've recently started playing again after a few months away, and it feels like every other match is some variation of Ruin, Thrill of the Hunt, Blood Favour, Devour Hope, Face the Darkness, and Pentimento.
It's getting to the point where solo queue feels borderline unplayable. I've found myself focusing more on earning as many Bloodpoints as possible because it often feels like the match is over before it even begins.
It feels like you're punished no matter what you do. If you ignore the totems, the killer ends up having Devour Hope. If you do cleanse them, you're dealing with Face the Darkness, Thrill of the Hunt, and Pentimento. Cleansing becomes a chore when you're constantly screaming, losing your cleansing progress, and having to start over. Then, if you finally manage to cleanse everything, Pentimento goes up and you're forced to cleanse all over again unless you want to deal with painfully slow repairing and healing.
It's even more frustrating when a solo queue teammate cleanses a hex but then doesn't remove the Pentimento totem afterwards. At that point, you're left with the choice of either repairing at a snail's pace or spending even more time searching the map for the rekindled totem. I know you can see its aura through walls, but the range isn't exactly generous, so you still end up wasting time trying to find it.
Overall, it's just a really frustrating build to play against, especially the combination of Thrill of the Hunt, Devour Hope, Face the Darkness, and Pentimento. In a coordinated SWF it's manageable, but good luck dealing with that consistently in solo queue with three random players.

Hexes come and go out of the meta and rn they're strong. It's really just thrill holding them together especially in combination with face the darkness making them impossible to cleanse. I don't think the current nerf coming will be enough to kill them but once they rework it in the big update I imagine hexes will be garbage again.
