Same-Console Two-Player Co-op with Exclusive Survivor Duos
Hello Dead by Daylight Team,
I have an idea for a new type of survivor experience: same-console, two-player co-op using split-screen or shared-screen play.
Rather than allowing every survivor combination, this mode could be limited to special, exclusive survivor duos that are designed and balanced specifically to work together. For example, one player could control a woman while the second player controls her dog companion.
Each duo could have unique cooperative abilities. The human survivor might repair generators, heal teammates, and interact with normal objectives, while the dog could track the Killer, locate injured survivors, distract the Killer, retrieve small items, or warn the human player when danger is nearby.
Limiting the feature to specially designed team-ups would help prevent balance problems while also creating a completely new type of DLC. Other possible duos could include siblings, partners, a survivor and a robotic companion, or two characters from the same licensed franchise.
I think this could make Dead by Daylight more accessible for couples, friends, siblings, and parents who want to play together on one console. It would also give the game a unique local co-op feature without changing the standard four-survivor structure.
Thank you for considering the idea.
Best,
Mark
