Jason was their most wanted license since the beginning of dbd. Of all the licenses in the game, you would think they would add the most content possible for their biggest chapter imagineable, but its not that simple.
What we managed to get, is what they were lucky to get at all. Because whats kept jason out of dbd this long is a long licensing war that finally came to an agreement, and after the dust settled, this is all that can be used. I'm sure they would have loved to add camp crystal lake, take all his classic movie looks for cosmetics, and even add survivors from the movies for a full chapter.
Instead, like ghostface, this is not Jason from the movies, but stylized off of the movies, due to other companies owning bits and pieces of rights here and there that still complicates things.
