dandys world x dbd
I think Dandy's World would be a great collaboration for DbD. After seeing it on the list of potential collaborations, I thought my dream might actually be achievable—especially given how easy it would likely be to secure the Dandy's World license. So, here is my concept: New Killer: Astro. Just like in the original game, Astro will apply a fatigue (stamina) effect—a brilliant idea since the code already exists! (Think back to the 10th DBD event where killers could poison survivors.) Second ability: Dream Flicker (mobility). It’s hard to describe... basically, your camera control mimics the Cenobite’s chain mechanic but lasts longer; wherever you crash (or once a set time elapses), you instantly teleport to that spot! While using the ability, you can see survivors (whenever the Dandy Box plays). What is the Dandy Box? Well, that’s the most interesting part. On the map, random jars of ichor will appear on the floor (like trappers' traps). Collect them to buy certain items at the Dandy shop (the Dandy shop will always appear in the center instead of the central generator). The assortment of goods is varied: sweets related to stamina (as in the game itself) and other various items (which can be copied from the original game), and this is also a plus! Since there are more sweets in Dandy World, of course, we need an animation for eating sweets, which can be taken from the DBD anniversary. Sweets can also provide the same improvements. There's also a compromise: with each purchase of an item (from Dandy), Astro's ability becomes stronger, but But if you don't buy anything from Dandy for a long time, he starts getting angry; eventually, he might leave his shop and start helping Astro hunt down the players! (That’s how I envision this idea for BHVR.) Also, once an item is purchased, it’s gone for good until the shop refreshes (there will be new items each time it updates). The shop holds a maximum of 8 items, and it would refresh either after a generator is completed, after a certain amount of time has passed, or—per the "BHVR option"—based on their specific mechanics. This is the core concept, though, of course, balancing adjustments would be needed. I really want to say that Dandy's World deserves a collaboration—the DbD community doesn't quite get it! Dandy's World has a spooky atmosphere—and, most importantly, a unique one. Oh, by the way, the new map: Gardenview Floors.
