I’m very disappointed in the Anniversary this year

it doesn’t even feel like a party or a celebration! Where are the balloons, party streamers, confetti? The event mode is horrible for killer and this is coming from a person that plays killer and survivor equally. And don’t get me started on the cakes. We used to get so many in one blood web but now we’re barely getting any like what is going on??? Isnt this supposed to be a celebration? It’s very much giving hey happy 10 years of dbd and getting no presents. Good old bhvr always messing something up

    The event really shows how BHVR has taken its player base for granted. Everything about seems like “here you go, take it or leave it” rather than a heartfelt “thank you” to the dedicated players that have supported the game and made it uniquely successful. It’s a long-standing theme of BHVR takings its customers for granted because there is no competition and the they know their customers will play the game no matter what.

    This isn't taking for granted. This feels, at best, like actual deliberate spite. There is no way they didn't know what they were doing, and how absolutely horrible it'd be to play into. Killer poison just randomly not working, and you running out.

    Survivors on the other hand…

    I just got out of my third match today where a SWF used a trick to become almost invincible and take the match hostage, or trap me in part of the map. And that's not even the worst of the buffs.

    Them deliberately making cakes 90% rarer than previous events and going out of their way to hurt killer players is just…are they worried about the rising cost of server maintenance? Because this feels designed to make half your playerbase quit.

    And no, this will not be fixed and if they make any changes, it'll be in mid July, after the event is almost done.
